'She's a male hater'

While it is a fact here, that women misuse laws and commit atrocities against men and their family members, she is keen on showing atrocities against women. Hence our team was present to protest." They even watched the play, but were unable to meet Ensler.

"We were there to let her know about the situation in India, which is very different from that described in her play. Things shown here are far from reality and men are portrayed wrongly," said Mithun Kumar, another SIFF member.

The pamphlets distributed by the harassed husbands gave figures on how women commit atrocities against men and their women family members by misusing Section 498 (A).

Ensler's manager accepted the pamphlets. However, the men have not given up. "Ensler is said to be in Mumbai now and our team members in that city will take up the cause," said Kumar.
