Thane reports 14 new Covid-19 cases

According to a bulletin issued by the TMC, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Sunday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162

Thane district on Sunday reported 14 new coronavirus cases. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,692, according to a Covid-19 bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).


According to the bulletin, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Sunday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.

With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 115 active Covid-19 cases.

11 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 2, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,415. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.84 per cent.
