Joining the ongoing protest against the delay in NEET-PG counselling, resident doctors from three hospitals in Mumbai have announced that they would stop providing OPD services starting Thursday.

Residents doctors at KEM, Sion, and JJ hospitals announced that they will stop providing non-emergency services. However, they will continue to work in Covid-19 wards. 



According to reports, there are nearly 600 resident doctors in Sion Hospital and 790 in KEM Hospital working at present.  Meanwhile, in Delhi, patient care was affected at several major hospitals on December 29 as resident doctors intensified their agitation even as members of more resident doctors associations (RDAs) joined the stir in the national capital.


The stir by resident doctors in Delhi, who have been protesting over the delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling entered into its 13th day on December 29.
