Paan and gutkha stains continue to dominate city’s infrastructure, including the newly opened Metro corridors. Recently a commuter pointed at the paan stains on a platform screen door at a station. Commuters are demanding that the authorities take strict action against the people spitting on the Metro premises.

Commuter Santosh N Jois tweeted, “Kanderpada metro station..closing gates art work by .....sad :-((( pained ...our mentality is rock bottom sadly. (sic)” He also attached a picture of the same where the stains are clearly visible.
