Mumbai platform ticket prices reduced, reverted to Rs 10

The Central Railway on Wednesday slashed rates of platform tickets that had been raised during the Covid-19 pandemic. The changes will come into effect from Thursday.

The Central Railway on Wednesday slashed rates of platform tickets that had been raised during the Covid-19 pandemic. The changes will come into effect from Thursday.

The rates of platform tickets that had been raised to Rs 50 at stations like CSMT, Dadar, Kurla LTT, Thane, Kalyan and Panvel will be back to Rs 10 from Thursday. Central Railway chief public relations officer Shivaji Sutar confirmed the development.
