As Maharashtra gears up for monsoon, in preparation for possible natural disasters during Maharashtra rains, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed that disaster control rooms across Maharashtra be kept fully operational and on standby. The directive was issued during the monsoon preparedness review meeting, an official statement said on Thursday.
It said that to ensure that citizens can contact the authorities during emergencies a list of contact numbers was being issued.
