The state has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the Beed coaching class sexual harassment case, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced in the state legislative assembly on Tuesday.

“A time-bound inquiry will be conducted in the Beed case. All the girls will get justice. Stringent punishment will be given to those involved in the crime,” Fadnavis said.

The Beed coaching class sexual harassment case was raised in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly after Question Hour on Day 2 of the Monsoon Session 2025.
