A fire broke out in a ground floor shop at Lokhandwala market in Andheri at 7.30 pm on Saturday

A fire broke out in a ground floor shop at Lokhandwala market in Andheri at 7.30 pm on Saturday.


Four fire engines and water tankers doused the fire within minutes, but two people sustained injuries in the mishap.



Hassan Shah (26) suffered 30 per cent burns while Jama Khan (22) suffered five per cent burns.


While Khan has been discharged, Shah might be moved to the ICU.

Another fire, at a shop in Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Kurla, was put out at 11.30 am yesterday. No casualties were reported.
