Thane: Three booked for allegedly transporting bull in SUV for slaughtering it

Three persons have been booked by police in Thane for allegedly transporting a bull in an SUV for slaughtering it, police said yesterday.

The three men — identified as Intezar Ali Sheikh, Raju Ungli and Raju Lanka — have also been booked under various charges, including attempt to murder, based on a complaint filed by animal activist Chetan Sharma yesterday.


The cops have also recovered a knife from the vehicle.
