Neighbours panic

The mood in Dongri, where Famida Panwala body was brought to her maternal home, is sombre. Mohammed Saleem, her younger brother, said, "She had breathing problems, diabetes and sinus. She was also obese. But she could have been saved."

Areas in and around Dongri witnessed panic; news of her demise spread like wildfire. Quba Guest House building, where Famida's body was brought, was deserted. Residents preferred to stay at home than visit the mourning family.
