Following the success of 26/11, several Jihadis have joined LeT and JuD terror training camps

Across the border, however, jihadis are celebrating the successful completion of the mission and indoctrinating other recruits.

After Ajmal Qasab and his associates killed 166 people in Mumbai, more people have joined terror outfits in Pakistan.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria explained, "The 26/11 terror attacks were a huge success for them.

It encourages such people to take part in terror activities. One cannot give an exact figure, but there will definitely be an increase in the number of people who will take up to terrorism."

According to the police, "Though India managed to capture Qasab alive, the 26/11 attacks have served its purpose of spreading terrorism across the world.

Even today, banned organisations like the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), run by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), attract and train jihadis in the guise of running hospitals and educational institutes.

"Despite the ban, JuD has been carrying out terror-related activities in Pakistan. There are many people who have joined them," revealed Maria, who led the investigations into the 26/11 attacks.
