The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has decided to install noise barriers near the IIT campus in Powai.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has decided to install noise barriers near the IIT Campus in Powai. "We have already successfully installed similar barriers in BKC. This helped bring down the decibel levels from 98 to acceptable limits of 55 decibels during the day," said Dilip Kawathkar, Joint Project Director (PR), MMRDA.
