Actor promotes mom's dairy farm in brother's constituency on Twitter

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, son of former Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh is using the social networking site Twitter to promote his mother Vaishali's dairy farm in Latur.

Riteish has put up pictures of the tabela on the site. Of course, Riteish's Twitter posts coincide with the start of his brother Amit Deshmukh's campaign from Latur.

Riteish tweets, "Members of my aai's first venture. A dairy farm. Proud of her, as she has done it all on her own."

He also posted a link to a picture of him and a cow on the farm saying, 'I struggled to hug her. Finally succeeded."

I was taken aback when I heard about mom's dairy farm because she has always been a housewife. But I am happy that mom is doing something so special after so many years.

I visited it last week when I went to Latur. It's called Sai Dairy. Normally, mothers are proud of their children, but this time she has made her children extremely proud."

Farmville tales

Govinda: In 2004, the BMC ordered actor and then sitting MP Govinda to dismantle an illegal shed he had created for cows at his bungalow in Malad

Mayor Shubha Raul: She came under severe criticism when she kept a cow, Kapila and its calf, Gopi, at her official bungalow in Shivaji Park without permission.

Lalu Prasad Yadav: The former railway minister is well known for his love of tabelas. Lalu had a farm in Patna consisting of almost 200 cows, dogs and a horse.
