Nine Shiv Sainiks, including a corporator, were arrested for attacking the residence of advocate Anjali Waghmare, appointed by a special court to represent the lone terrorist arrested in the Mumbai strikes, Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab.
They will be produced before a magistrate in the today afternoon, he said.
The special court trying Qasab has appointed Waghmare to defend him.
Over 100 activists has last night staged a protest and pelted stones at the residence of Waghmare demanding that she withdraw from the case.
