A joint investigation by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has been launched into the matter, officials said on Tuesday

A passenger claimed that he was injured in an alleged knife attack onboard a Mumbai AC local train following which the police have launched investigations into the matter, the officials said on Tuesday.
"A joint investigation by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has been launched into the matter. However, no formal complaint has been received so far, and no injured person has been found at local hospitals," said an official.
