Cycling can be a great way to stay fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This routine gains more importance when it is attached to a cause that can benefit others. Deviprasad Goenka Management  College of Media Studies (DGMC), run by Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust (RSET),  is organising a cyclothon, Pedal for a Cause-Pedal for Thalassaemia this weekend.

Thalassaemia is an inherited blood disorder. DGMC has taken on this initiative in order to create  some much-needed awareness about the medical condition and has hosted this in association with the Mumbai Thalassemic Society, a platform that helps create awareness. The route for the cyclothon includes areas of Malad and Goregaon West, from where they will circle back to the RSET campus.

On February 19, 8 am onwards
Starting point RSET Campus, Malad (West).
Entry fee Rs 100
