The organisation has also been organising the Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival in Himachal Pradesh. “We are always on the lookout for new venues. We had been to Jadhavgadh once before and we thought that it would be a great place for this festival. Also, we wanted to cover regions other than north India,” explains Miecckey Bharrucha, principal coordinator of Genesis Foundation.

The line-up for this edition of the festival promises something for every kind of music lover and features a mix of Rock, Pop and even Sufi music.

Day one (September 21) will include performances by singer-songwriter Akshay Deodhar, young Raga pianist Utsav Lal, Sonam Kalra and the Sufi Gospel Project, a Beatles tribute band (that also features musician Sidd Coutto) and Applied For, a band comprising of CEOs. The finale performance will be by musicband Something Relevant.

Day two (September 22) will be an open house for those who wish to jam and there will be a delicious brunch to satiate your tummy, as well.
