'Zero Day': Robert De Niro to star in Netflix's political thriller series

Based on a story that they co-authored with Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist Michael Schmidt, Newman and Oppenheim developed the script. The series is executive produced by Newman and Oppenheim as well

Legendary Hollywood actor Robert De Niro will make his television debut in `Zero Day`, a limited series, on Netflix.
According to Variety, a US-based news outlet, De Niro is reportedly portraying a former US President in the series, which Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim are creating. As per Variety, the series is a political thriller.
