Rohitash is best remembered as Mukundi Lal Gupta in the sitcom. He featured in Hirani's earlier movies - 'Munnabhai MBBS', 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' and '3 Idiots'.

Now, he will be seen as a Haryanvi speaking constable in 'Peekay'. "I am doing a cameo role. I will be playing the part of a police head constable. It is a funny scene," Rohitash said, without divulging further details.u00a0

For his part, Rohitash shot for three days in Mumbai in July this year. For the remaining portions, he will have to shoot in Delhi from September. Apparently, the actor has been a friend of Hirani and that's how he got the film. "I share a good relation with him (Hirani). I worked with him when he was doing TV, so that's how we know each other," he said.

Rohitash will be sharing screen space in 'Peekay' with the lead actors - Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma. "It was a nice working experience with Aamir and Anushka. Aamir does lot of detailed work," he added.

Besides Aamir and Anushka, 'Peekay' also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and is slated to release next year.
