Actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay held his party`s Special General Committee meeting in Mahabalipuram, Chennai, on Wednesday morning. This marked his first public speech since the Karur tragedy that claimed 41 lives. The meeting was attended by hundreds of general committee members, including party leader Vijay, General Secretaries N Anand, Aadhav Arjuna, Arun Raj, and Treasurer Venkataraman.

In his speech, Vijay said that his party will not stop and will contest the next state assembly polls. He said, “I will repeat what I said in my last public meeting. When nature and God are with us, when our own people stand with us, who can stop us? All these struggles are just temporary; let us shatter them. Our journey will not be stopped. Let’s be confident, and good things are bound to happen.”
