Rapper Kanye West has reportedly reached out to rapper Jay-Z to mend their friendship, which broke after West hit out at Jay-Z and his wife, singer Beyonce in a rambling on-stage rant last year. But West has now got in touch with Jay-Z and wants to meet up with his former close friend.

While Jay-Z had slammed West for "crossing the line" by hitting out at his family, his friends and family believe he should soften his stance because West's rant came right before he was hospitalised after seemingly suffering a breakdown.

According to a source, the two rappers are close to a reconciliation, and the falling out is nothing new as they have always had a love-hate relationship.
