The 47-year-old actor, who essays the role of Wolverine in the franchise, will be flying to Montreal in January for the reshoot, reported Aceshowbiz quoting Le Journal de Montreal, "It seems that Hugh Jackman will be on hand," the statement in the tabloid read.

In the upcoming film, Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast and James McAvoy's Professor X are teaming up to fight against the newly-unleashed enemy Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac).

Directed by Bryan Singer, "X-Men: Apocalypse" is scheduled for May, 2016 release.
