'True Detective 2' adds adult film stars to its cast

'True Detective' has reportedly added adult film actresses Amia Miley and Peta Jensen to its cast ensemble for season 2

Los Angeles: 'True Detective' has reportedly added adult film actresses Amia Miley and Peta Jensen to its cast ensemble for season 2.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the scenes in which they will appear feature naked bodies. The scenes were reportedly shot over the past few days in a Pasadena mansion and main stars Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams were involved in the filming.

HBO has not responded to the porn stars hiring report. Season 2 of 'True Detective' also stars Taylor Kitsch, Vince Vaughn and Kelly Reilly.

The story is set in California and will follow "three police officers and a career criminal" who "must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder."

Justin Lin is tapped to direct the first two episodes, while series creator Nic Pizzolatto returns to write all episodes.

The second installment of the crime anthology series is expected to debut this summer.
