Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar reopened theatres after almost 1.5 years of COVID-19-induced pandemic with their cop-thriller, Sooryavanshi. Despite a delay due to the outbreak of coronavirus in 2020, the makers stood by the decision to go for a theatrical release instead of opting for direct-to-digital streaming. Today, the film completed 2 years. 

On the occasion of 2 years of Sooryavanshi, the makers of the upcoming thriller, Singham Again, unveiled Akshay's poster as Veer Sooryavanshi from the film. He is a part of Rohit's star-studded cop universe. In the poster, Akshay, whose character works for the Anti-Terrorism Squad, can be seen jumping off the helicopter in an important chase sequence.
