Sharib Hashmi on Dhaakad: Role was written with me in mind

Interestingly, it is not Hashmi’s first collaboration with the director. “Razneesh [Ghai] is an old friend. We’ve worked together in MTV for four years. It was a proud moment to see him direct his maiden film,” says the actor.  Ask him if he auditioned for the role, Hashmi says, “Although I tested for the role, it was a formality. It was already decided that I would play the part because he had written the role with me in mind.”
