Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan among others today wished luck and prosperity for all to mark the beginning of the ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

"Blessing from Ganapati on this auspicious day... May you be prosperous, healthy and happy ever... Ever the destroyer of all evil... of giving us peace and fulfilment through His divinity... of the protection that He creates for us in prayer," Bachchan, 72, posted on his blog.
"May all His blessings be upon us .. and guide and protect us for yet another year..." he said.
"Raees" producer Riteish Sidhwani also wished followers, saying, "Mein Aur Hamara Ganesha! Couldn't miss being home this year... Ganpati Bappa Moriya." Shah Rukh replied to him, "@ritesh_sid May the blessings of Lord Ganesha make your life and family most happy and healthy."
Actress Raveena Tandon wrote, "Aap sabhi ko Ganesh chaturti Ki hardhik shubhkamnaaye! (Wishing you all on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi). Ganpati bappa Morya!"
"Brothers" star Sidharth Malhotra tweeted, "Ganpati Bappa Moriya - he is home. Wish you all peace, prosperity &amp; positivity on this auspicious #GaneshChaturthi."
"Happy #GaneshChaturthi everybody. Hope baapa blessed everyone's homes," posted Varun.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput posted, "Faith is the window...Happy Ganesh Chaturthi everyone."
