In one of his tweets he stated, “KASHMIR bahut AMEER in natural beauty... Maashallah Maashallah.”

He then added, “Maashallah Maashallah se yaad aya Katrina Kaif bhi Kashmir se hai.”

Salman’s reference to Katrina may be from the song, 'Mashallah Mashallah', from their film 'Ek Tha Tiger' (2012), but for Kat Kashmir denotes painful memories of her father — a Kashmiri whom she never saw after he left the family.
