After The Xpose (2014), Himesh Reshammiya wanted to make an edge-of-the-seat musical thriller. According to the film’s director, Shawn Arranha, Teraa Surroor is an escape drama set in Dublin with some lethal characters played by Naseeruddin Shah, Shekhar Kapur, Kabir Bedi, Shernaz Patel, Monica Dogra and newcomer Farah Karimae, besides Himesh.
The thriller narrates the story of Raghu and Tara’s intense romance and how Raghu goes to Dublin to save Tara as she is framed in a conspiracy. Shekhar Kapur plays the character of the Indian ambassador in Dublin.
The director is confident about the film and says, “T Series and HR Musik have already covered it’s cost from the music and satellite rights besides other rights.”
Teraa Surroor releases on March 11.
