Rajkummar Rao's 'Newton' gets a standing ovation at Berlin Film Festival

Amit V Masurkar's Newton premiered at the ongoing Berlin International Film Festival. Selected in the international forum of new cinema, it was screened at Zoo Palast, the oldest and most prestigious venues of the Berlinale. The black comedy received a standing ovation from the audience and was followed by a QnA.

The film's cast -Rajkummar Rao, Anjali Patil and Pankaj Tripathi - with producer Manish Mundra and music composer Naren Chandavarkar, were present. Rajkummar says, "I was excited as well as nervous, but the response we received was overwhelming. The appreciation left me humbled."
