Priyan shelves film with Prateik

Priyadarshan has been forced to shelve his film with Prateik Babbar and a cast of newcomers. Reason? His producers backed out, claiming they do not want to invest in a film that has no known star.

Priyadarshan is unhappy that he was not given the opportunity to discover fresh talent. He will now use the dates he had allocated to make a thriller with Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty and Vidya Balan. Priyadarshan is excited about the project as it is his first thriller, but he also disappointed about having to shelve the Prateik film.
