After Bombay Boys, Naseeruddin Shah is back to playing a gangster in Dev Anand's Charge Sheet. The film is a murder mystery and Shah plays a don with mannerisms similar to gangster Dawood Ibrahim. Dev Anand is a retired CBI officer who takes him on. Shah's don also operates in ways similar to Dawood.

Charge Sheet, which marks 60 years of Nav Ketan Films, also stars Jackie Shroff, Divya Dutta and four newcomers.
