Feast your eyes on Ranbir Kapoor's latest co-star
Ranbir Kapoor's latest girl (read: co-star) Nargis Fakhri is half Czech and half Pakistani. The duo feature in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar and are currently shooting in Prague. 
The under-wraps project has her essaying the role of a dancer. The American national is 5'9'' and featured in the 2009 Kingfisher calendar. Imtiaz made her go through a series of auditions before he picked her for the role.
Born and raised in New York, Nargis narrowly missed her chance of making it to the Top Model house during Cycle 3. She messed up her words when introducing herself to the panel for the first time.
She later expressed that she had no interest in fashion or modelling, just looked at modelling as simply a job and a way to make a living. Her upbeat attitude during auditions got her noticed as she was signed by a modelling agency and went on to appear in several TV commercials and mag covers till Imtiaz spotted her for Rockstar. Her mom would have preferred that she made a career in the fine arts, though.
