Karan Johar reveals the plot of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

Karan Johar has revealed that his film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' revolves around a Hindu guy and a Muslim girl.

Ranbir Kapoor plays the character of Ayan (was he named after his bestie, director Ayan Mukerji, who is also KJo’s protégé ?) while Anushka’s character is Alizeh (that’s also the name of Alvira Khan and Atul Agnihotri’s daughter).

Moreover, KJo has emphasised that his film is not about the conflict in their romantic saga.
