Screen magic
I love the 70s era for the style, songs and movies. I consider myself very fortunate because I can live that era even today on celluloid.
That's the best part about my jobu00a0-- I can essay various roles and live through various times. I love to watch old films. Grease and Saturday Night Fever are my favourites. And the Beegees' song Staying Alive gets me grooving even today. But there is no one to beat John Travolta from the 70s era. He simply rocked, and his distinct style turned many of us into his diehard fans.
That's my style
Overall, I love the retro look a lot and those funky accessories are to die for. I love accessorising my look, as a little bling here and there can make even a simple outfit look very glamorous. I totally love the big hoops, broad hair bands, colourful bangles and wedge heels. They look super sexy and are so comfortable. As soon as I adorn the retro look, I feel completely alive and ready to go as it invigorates me in a strange yet amazing way.
Old is gold
I feel fashion follows a full circle trend. The style and trends of the past are slowly coming back in some way and form. Whether it is make-up, clothes, shoes or accessories, we can see the trends slowly making their comeback in today's times. Big round earrings, wedge heals, polka dotted dresses, bell bottoms (flared pants) were all a rage in the past, and they still continue to make a statement even in today's fashion scene.
