This year’s Grand Winner is Ayanava Sil (India) for his photograph Crown of Fire - a blazing moment of childhood joy captured during Diwali. The image is a brilliant composition of instinct, timing, and visual storytelling. Ayanava receives a $500 cash prize and the opportunity to showcase his work at the upcoming Pure Street Photography Exhibition.
“The jury applauded Ayanava’s photograph. It’s a masterclass in awareness - where instinct, timing, and composition fall into perfect harmony. Ayanava didn’t just capture the moment; he understood the choreography of light and life in that split second,” says Dimpy Bhalotia, Judge of the Pure Street Photography Grant 2025.
The Grand Prize is followed by 1st place winner Parvathi Kumar (USA), 2nd place winner Amy Horowitz (USA), and 3rd place winner Sebastian Piatek (Germany). In addition to these top honors, 26 finalists from countries including Italy, China, Belgium, and Thailand will have their work featured in the Pure Street Photography Exhibition, bringing together global perspectives in a powerful visual dialogue that transcends borders.

“This grant is a celebration of the human spirit through photography. These iconic photographers come from vastly different places, yet their images speak a shared truth: there’s extraordinary power in how we see the ordinary,” adds Dimpy.
The judging process was helmed by Bhalotia, who has previously judged over 15 international awards and recently served as President of the Photography Jury at the ADC 103rd Annual Awards by The One Club for Creativity. Her insight and integrity ensure a judging process of the highest standard.
