Girish Mhatre, founder, Good Earth Winery, calls wine a unique beverage thanks to its subtle sensory nuances. "But wine is new to many Indians, so we thought we would launch Vitiquette to share the wine experience and infect more people with our enthusiasm. It's not bad for business either," he laughs.
He's right. Vitiquette will obviously feature wine from Good Earth and it's an excellent promotion, especially for their new launch: Antaraa, a red wine with flavours of plums and blackcurrants.u00a0
Making an evening of a wine-tasting, especially if you are a fan of the fruity reds or whites could even be a perfect birthday party plan. If the crowd is well-versed in wines, Good Earth just sends its white-gloved staff, the wines (you can pick a variety or just one type, to cut costs), and food. The finger foods include cheeses, crackers, dips, and gourmet items like caviar and salmon.
Vitiquette has only been launched in Mumbai and Pune, but expansion plans are in store.
