The Canadian singer who was in the city as a part of his India tour gets candid with Aanchal Kurmi about B-town music and more
Your take on the Indy-Pop and Bollywood music that has become quite popular in the internationally.u00a0
I am not new to Indy-Pop music, as it was always there. Indian music is really going great these days, but I don't have much time to dedicate to this kind of music.
How was the experience working with Sukhbir and Josh?
I first met Josh and through them I met Sukhbir. Actually, it feels amazing to work with people from diverse cultures. We experimented a lot and you'll find an Arabic touch in all our compositions.
You sound a bit like Justin Timberlake and want to be like Akon. Comment
It feels great when you are compared to somebody so reputable. I have known Justin from the days of N'Sync, while Akon is my friend.u00a0
How was it working with Snoop Dogg?
He's a super nice guy. Also, he's the most perfect businessman I've ever met. Though we have worked together on an exclusive online track called Triple R, I never met him physically.
Is Wolf a party animal?
Though I look like one, I party only when I'm doing concerts. Otherwise, I love to spend time at home with my parents.
How's your experience in India so far?
I was always excited to come to India and didn't feel like an alien in your country. I have some Indian friends and love the food here, especially Tandoori Chicken.
What are your plans after this tour?
I'll start recording for my forthcoming album called Night Life.
