For Las Vegas-based illusionist Rob Lake, it wasn’t just the magic of one illusion but a series of them, watched over the years as a child—magic shows on TV, at amusement parks, and at birthday parties. When he was 10 years old, he saw this big theatrical production—with a helicopter, a car, dancers, et al—and knew this was his path.
