Tokyo Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra will compete against several Olympic medallists, including Thomas Röhler and Anderson Peters, at the inaugural edition of the Neeraj Chopra Classic javelin throw competition. The event is scheduled to take place at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on May 24. Organisers have announced that tickets for the day-long competition—set to welcome over 12,000 spectators—are now on sale.
The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) is the official sanctioning body for the event.
