India’s top men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty signed off from the Hong Kong Open as runners-up after going down to China’s Olympic silver-medallists Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang in the final of the Super 500 badminton event here on Sunday.

The World No. 9 Indian duo, who bagged a World Championships bronze medal last month, suffered a 21-19, 14-21, 17-21 loss to the sixth-ranked Chinese duo.
Shetty admitted they struggled to counter their opponent’s aggression in the last two games.
