On an action packed day of close encounters, Garodia overcame formidable Indian Gymkhana 27-25, after leading 12-8 at half-time, in a mini boys league tie.
In another match, YMCA International House rallied from a 20-29 deficit at half-time to beat Andheri YMCA 60-58 in the men's league.
