The Powai Bengali Welfare Association (PBWA), a charitable organisation formed in 2006, organised its annual sports meet 'Sports with a cause' yesterday at the Norita Ground, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai

Vishwanath, Ghavri bat for under-privileged kids at PBWA meet

The event, in aid of cancer -affected children and underprivileged kids, saw representatives of CanKids and Pranab Kanya interacting with former India cricketers Gundappa Vishwanath and Karsan Ghavri along with former national volleyball player and SAF Games gold meadlist SH Zama.u00a0


The trio did not only inspire the kids with their presence but also handed over donations to the two organisations as well as the Blind Person’s Association on behalf of the PBWA.u00a0
