Stoner clinches pole in Portugal

Australia’s world champion Casey Stoner took pole position for Sunday’s Portuguese MotoGP here on Saturday.

The Honda rider finished ahead of teammate Dani Pedrosa and Yamaha’s Cal Crutchlow.
