Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal was dumped out of the women's singles semi-final at the Malaysian Open Super Series by sixth seed Tzu Ying Tai of Chinese Taipei.

The top seed looked totally out of sorts and lost to the Chinese Taipei shuttler 20-22, 14-21 in just 35 minutes.
