Delonte West scored 14 of his season-high 21 points during a 29-0 first-half run on Sunday that sparked the Cleveland Cavaliers past the Milwaukee Bucks 101-86 in an NBA game.
West has struggled with personal issues and was relegated to a reserve role but showed why the team has had faith in him.
"We know how tough we are to beat when Delonte's at a high level," James said.
The 29-0 spurt, which came at the end of the first quarter and start of the second quarter, was the longest shutout streak in any game this season and helped Cleveland improve to 15-5 after a 3-3 start to the campaign.
"I didn't know it was 29-0. I knew we went on a big run," Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said. "It's a good feeling, I hope I can have that feeling a lot."
Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings scored 24 points as Milwaukee slid to 9-10.
"Nobody was able to take the lid off for us," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. "When they were pulling away we needed to be able to make some plays on one end or the other. Both went south on us at the same time."
