Inter-school: St Stanislaus eager to change fortunes

Keaton Talker, Melford Jeddo and Melwin D'Souza were the stars for St Stanislaus quarter-final match in the boys' under-16 Ahmad Sailor Knock-Out tournament yesterday.



The Bandra school defeated Utpal Sanghvi 3-0 at Azad Maidan yesterday. St Stanislaus have had a dismal season so far.

The former champions failed to lay their hands on any trophy in football this season.

Poor season
Keaton, who opened the scoring for St Stanislaus, has high expectations from this tournament.

"We failed to win anything in the under-16 and under-14 categories.Today, we beat a decent side in Utpal Sanghvi.

I hope we put up similar performances in this season remaining matches of the tournament and give some joy to the school.We will give off our best effort," assured Keaton.
