Sarfaraz Khan continued his splendid form, scoring 117 to take his tournament tally to a staggering 838 runs in six innings. He was well supported by Arman Jaffer who played a steady innings and remained unbeaten on 81 at stumps yesterday.
Although his physique doesn't allow him to go for big strokes, he feels he will get over the hurdle with time. The youngster was exceptional in nudging the ball around and stealing those cheeky singles while leaving Sarfaraz to go after the bowlers. The duo was involved in a vital 113-runu00a0 stand.
Arman said, "I have to stick to the basics as I do not have the power to hit the ball over the top. I will aim to stay at the wicket the whole day tomorrow and complete my century."
Being made to sit on the sidelines for a couple of games was frustrating for Arman. But he made the most of it when given a chance in the semi-final, scoring an impressive 87.
"I was feeling very bad. All my friends were getting runs. If I was given a chance even I would have scored. I am happy I am playing well now," Arman said.
