Mumbai-based Friends United girls' hockey team (left) won the Lusitanians Ladies Invitation hockey tournament for the third time in a row beating Dubai Hockey Club 3-0 in the finals at the Dubai Scholars Ground recently. 
In the eight-team league-cum-knockout tournament, Friends United beat Lusitanians 6-0 in the opener, before routing Cambridge High School 9-0 and Sharjah Tigers 5-0 in the following encounters. In the semis, Friends beat Dubai Scholars 4-0. Friends' Nimmy Nair was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
