British boxer Amir Khan was hit by death threats for putting up a Christmas tree at his home. The Bolton-born pugilist shared a video of the tree decorated in lights for his three-year-old daughter Lamaisah

British boxer Amir Khan was hit by death threats for putting up a Christmas tree at his home. The Bolton-born pugilist shared a video (pictured above) of the tree decorated in lights for his three-year-old daughter Lamaisah. "While everyone's asleep, daddy put the Christmas tree up. Lamaisah's going to be happy #Christmas#MerryChristmas2017," Khan, 31, wrote on Instagram.

The post didn't go down well with fans. Khan was bombarded with abuse and threats. One fan wrote: "I promise to god I kill you and your family amir."
