Maccabi were awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 for the open title and Rs 2,000 for the veterans title. Shalom United were richer by Rs 15,000, while IC Royals received Rs 8000 for their effort

Dadar-based Maccabi won both, the open and the veterans titles, at the Our Lady of Assumption rink football tournament in Kandivli recently.  In the open final, Maccabi beat Shalom United 1-0 with Kirsten Gonsalves scoring the match-winner. In the veterans final, Maccabi beat IC Royals 3-1. Martin D’Silva, Shannon Rodrigues and Coswil Cardoz scored for the winners while Agnelo Picardo reduced the margin for IC Royals. Maccabi were awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 for the open title and Rs 2,000 for the veterans title. Shalom United were richer by Rs 15,000, while IC Royals received Rs 8000 for their effort.
